Me?

I'm just a fellow traveler on the learning highway, an avid practitioner of "stealth KM" and earnest advocate of new ideas....

the informal bio from http://www.voght.com/cgi-bin/pywiki?BelaDona [the password can just be ignored, the dancing icon is linked to a conference]

the formal bio from the CV at http://www.voght.com/cgi-bin/pywiki?AsCht:

Carol Tucker has built a career in banking starting like so many others at the teller window and moved on to the branch level, and the executive level where she focused on risk management, relationship banking, CRM, and knowledge management. An entrepreneurial banker at Maryland Permanent Bank & Trust Co ó an independent community bank, where she is the VP of Loan Administration -- she advocates the implementation of online communities and collaboration for knowledge development as well as enterprise-wide employee participation in knowledge management initiatives. Carol sells these concepts without utilizing the jargon that has become inherent in these disciplines and without losing sight of the ROI. With a thorough, practical grounding in financial services, her goal for developing these initiatives has been to improve risk management and other processes involved in the provision of financial services while gaining a competitive advantage.

As an advocate of online communities, she has participated in a wide range of virtual communities where she asks relevant and discussion-provoking questions, practices empathetic listening, and engages in collaborative and creative inquiry. She has spoken on knowledge-based online banks, and engaged in online activities as a resource and facilitator.

Carol is a graduate of Towson University and lives in Randallstown, MD with her husband and books, and in her spare hours favors Internet surfing, Science Fiction/Fantasy, and theater.

Welcome Carol, glad you will be here to contribute Denham
